From start to finish... never a dull moment. Band ages like a fine wine... they continue to get better with age... Whether it was Tommy P roaring on the sax, multi-vocal harmonies throughout by all, David with the tasty fills and solid rhythm, Roger's crisp support and outstanding solos, the persona and bottom from Doc, Mike J giving new life to some classic TOP songs, Adolfo/Iron Mike bringing it, .... and Emilio stirring the drink... it is a well oiled machine. Brought many people who had never seen TOP live.... and they all left impressed and with a good feeling as they saw the best funk/R&B/Soul group in the world....doing what they do best - showing what happens when 10 great musicians perform as a team - you get a concert to remember. If TOP is in or near your locale, go to the show... don' t take a chance in missing this version of the group. Can't thank the group enough for staying together for 50+ years and making people happy.

Tower of Power's Thriving Legacy: A Dynamic Winter Tour Awaits in 2024

2023 marked a remarkable milestone for the iconic horn-driven funk and soul group Tower of Power, as they celebrated 55 years of musical excellence. Throughout the year, the band captivated audiences with sold-out performances across Europe, collaborated with prestigious symphony orchestras, and released their holiday EP, "It?s Christmas," featuring reimagined seasonal classics.

As they wrap up December with festive performances, Tower of Power is set to kick off 2024 with an exciting winter tour starting in late January and extending through February and March. The tour includes notable events such as the Soul Train Cruise on January 27, followed by several dates in Florida. They will then head west to Sparks, NV, and continue to the Midwest, with performances in cities like Fort Wayne, Flint, and Niagra Falls, before concluding their tour in Albuquerque, NM on March 23.

Reflecting on their enduring journey, founding member Emilio Castillo expressed gratitude for the past year?s achievements and excitement for the upcoming tour, emphasizing their commitment to keeping the funk and soul spirit alive.
